Don’t miss Aspirus Health’s Track Session Presentation
Stepping Outside of the Classroom and into Computer-Based Training
April 25, 2024, at 2:45 PM CT
We will discuss how we revitalized our new hire onboarding to meet the learner where they are in the learning process, offering multiple learning modes to teach workflows and courses cascaded over time.
The revitalization process connected operations, leaders, Clinical Informatics and our Epic training team through Curriculum Review Boards. The boards reviewed all our content deliverables and helped to shape and improve our new hire Epic education. To create our courses and content with adult learning styles in mind we have leveraged uPerform for all of our new hire courses. Using uPerform also allowed us to share content with the rest of the board members as it was created, gather feedback and make updates easily.
We will share the lessons we learned throughout the process and the impact it has had on our organization.
Presenters: Kirsten Francis, Jacob Whalen, Jill Gansch and Tracey Sandman
