Environmental Initiatives
We believe healthcare starts with our environment. Access to nutritious food and clean air and water are vital components to a healthy lifestyle. That’s why uPerform is taking on a variety of initiatives to reduce our footprint and make a positive impact on the environment, including partnering with the National Forest Foundation to plant 100 trees for every new contract signed in 2022 and migrating our data storage and server hosting to a colocation center to reduce water usage and overall carbon footprint.
uPerform is a proud member of the Maryland Green Registry, which works to recognize, and provide resources to, organizations working toward a more sustainable future.
Fighting Food Insecurity
According to the USDA, more than 38 million people, including 12 million children, in the United States are food insecure. uPerform participates in a variety of activities to provide meals to food insecure individuals around the globe, such as holiday food drives and packing meals with Rise Against Hunger.Â
uGoGreen Organization
We realize that preserving and bettering our environment is not just a one-time event or one person job, instead it involves all efforts, whether big or small, and collaboration, which is why we founded the uGoGreen organization. Through fundraising, education, and team-building activities, the uGoGreen Team is committed to lessening uPerform’s global and local impact on the environment in the pursuit of a more sustainable future.
Throughout our company, we are devoted to raising awareness and sharing ideas so that everyone can play a part in reducing waste in landfills and helping their fellow colleagues. Whether by giving everyone an opportunity to share a unique environmental tip with the company in lieu of a newsletter, or having a channel for our employees working out of headquarters to post household items and possessions they no longer need, for free.
In 2023, we have decided to use our resources to support new local, regional, and international causes. Locally, we will be supporting the Baltimore Tree Trust, who through Baltimore’s Neighborhood Foresters are building a local workforce to plant trees to help promote greener and healthier neighborhoods where all Baltimoreans can live, work, and thrive.
When it comes to our region, Save the Bay was a clear choice as it focuses on our far-reaching Chesapeake Bay. Save the Bay, part of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, is the largest independent conservation organization dedicated solely to saving the Bay. The Chesapeake Bay’s 64,000 square-mile watershed covers parts of six states, home to more than 18 million people and 3,000 species of plants and animals.
Internationally, we will be supporting the World Wildlife Fund, known to be the world’s largest and leading organization in wildlife conservation and protecting endangered species.

Software Development & Innovation Group (SDIG)
SDIG is responsible for the technology life cycle of our products. We design, develop, and test our software using a variety of innovative tools and frameworks. Cloud Operations, Product and Design, and IT Operations round out the team.
Sales & Marketing
Our mission is to help organizations realize the full potential of their technology investments by focusing on user adoption and satisfaction – key factors in software success. Sales and Marketing strives to support this mission by closely collaborating with our valued customers and partners to drive success.
Customer Success
We create and launch proactive customer engagement initiatives to help solve issues quickly and easily. We strive to improve and support customer advocacy, education, and retention programs in order to support our global customers through the adoption, retention, and expansion phases of the customer lifecycle.
Corporate Operations & Administration
We support the business for all back-office functions including legal, finance, accounting, human resources, and administrative support. We are highly collaborative, interactive and innovative across all areas of the business to help our internal customers be successful.
